It is essential that you use the guide length against the scalp to attain the right length eg. Number 2 guide will cut the hair 6mm ,number 10 will cut the hair 32mm.Handy Hint ,if you are not sure exactly what length you want to achieve go up a few sizes in guide length you can always go shorter when you get more confident.
Hair Straighteners
It is advised that the less moisture you have in the hair before using the straightener the better the result. The reason, it takes longer to get the hair from wet to dry. For a great result it is advised that you wash your hair the night before so it is completely dry. The straightening will last longer.

It is important to replace your Braun cutters every 18months as in that time they shave to the equivalent to a full football field, they are not self sharpening advisable to change the foil at the same time as the cutter.
Philips
Philips also needs replacing every 2 years. When you manually clean the cutters and head you should try not to mix them together. Try taking them out one head and cutter at a time as they self ground into each other.
